Cat.Foothills - The
Empress Mizz. J-Peg has pulled a rabbit out the hat and gotten
these Falcons off life support and out of re-hab and into 1st Place in
the Region. The OT win over Nogy has virtually guaranteed them the
Region Crown. This squad has got it together and at the right
time. Unless they pull another one of those Crazy Red Card
tantrums, they could be in for a State Championship this time around.
2. Salpointe
Catholic "Lancers"
- The Dub-ya's
Lancers put their boot on the Lions neck and never let up. Another
Region Crown is stamped with Salpointes brand. The rest is
just a formality. Look for a good run at State. This team can
score and is always dangerous.
3. Nogales H.S. - Nogy were only a minuet away from
winning the Region out right, and doing it at Cat. Foothills. Well,
just like the Indianapolis Colts, you have to play all the way to the
final whistle. Oopps!, Foothills scores, goes to OT and wins.
Nogy's season is not lost but they will have a tougher time come
State. Hats off to the Mighty Munchkins, it was a great
season.
4. CDO - Coach M-Peg's
Gang
Greenies found a way at
Sabino and unless they totally melt down, have assured themselves
of a Region Crown. A win vs
The Pigmy
Owls of Ironwood Ridge will
put it in the bag. But can they handle success?
5. Mountain View - Lions - The Self Loving Lions
started to read their own clippings and then got clipped by Buena and
then wnt to the Crying Game at Salpointe. (Coaching Point,
...Gotta watch those Red Cards!) These Kitties are not ready for
Prime Time. Look for a 1 and out in State and then it's back to
AYSO. Coach Bark-A-Lounger can then relax and say it again,
..."Wait till next Year!"

has proven just how good and how much
talent there was at Sabino last year. So much talent, that even
The Square
Peg could not screw it up. He is
back to his normal form now and about to lead his charge to another 1 and
out. He can kiss the Region Crown good bye!
Ironwood
Ridge

These
Pigmy
Owls are just not up to the
task. They got run out by the
Robo-Catz
and now have to Face up to the
Green
Gang. They will have to step
it up vs CDO if they hope to have any chance of being called "Night
Hawks" again.
Where is Rincon? - A
better question is Where is Waldo? Answer - The Same Place, ...at
the Bottom.
